Christmas

Thanks Char for the pictures. Hopefully I will get mine on here soon.

Merry Christmas!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful day yesterday. We got a new computer so I am setting it up today and trying everything out. Now just to figure out how to move all of my pictures from one to the other.
We had a fabulous day yesterday. Makenzie was out of bed by 12:45 am. I told her that she might want to go and try to sleep some more. So at 3:00 am when Isaac woke up Evan and Makenzie decided to get up also. We decided to open gifts at 5:30 am, I was sure Evan would fall asleep again soon and be out for a good few hours.
Isaac loved to open presents, no he loved to eat the paper and got soo upset when I took it away to give him the toy that was inside.
Evan I was sure was going to love his presents, but wouldn't you know he didn't care about anything but the chocolate in his stocking.
Makenzie was all over the place throwing gifts to the owners looking for hers and getting very excited for the things she got.
I got a dyson vacuume. YAY for me I was soo excited. I know there are those that would be upset if they got something like that for Christmas or a Birthday, but I say bring it on. I love that kind of stuff.
Nate got a bunch of stuff think he enjoyed the dart board, he hasn't gotten a chance to enjoy this awesome computer yet.
We braved the storm yesterday and drove to West Jordan. Grandma was there she is so cute I love her so much.
Mom and Dad made turkey and all the goods. I think I want to go back today for some more. We drove to Nate's sister's house. Had some more yummy stuff. Sang songs and laughed it was lots of fun.
Makenzie is home until Jan 5th. I am sooo excited for that. Some may say they don't know what to do with their children when they are home from school. Wahoo for me I can get a shower at a normal time, eat something, and clean my house =) Makenzie is seriously the best big sister any kid could ever want. The boys and Me are really so lucky to have her around.

Makenzie

So today while Makenzie was coloring she started to tell me that a boy tried to kiss her. I asked her if she kissed the boy and she said, I told him that I wasn't allowed to. I was laughing cuz it was sooo cute. She then told me that he was standing next to the school crying (whining) that he couldn't find any other hot girls to kiss. Haha I thought that was too funny. She was embarrassed so I explained to her that she should be flattered that someone wanted to kiss her and thought she was a hot girl. She said she felt much better after telling me this.
I love her she is so dang funny.

It's Potty Time!!!

Yay! Some of you may think I am crazy for starting already, I mean Evan wont be 18 months until January. Right now I have a diaper changing line at my house, it really is 2 boys laying down to get their bums changed at the same time. So Evan is getting a potty for Christmas -saw an elmo one so that will probably be it. He already shows signs that he just went so wish me all the luck.

TWILIGHT!!

Wahoo it is finally here. I went to see the movie with my Mom, Charlene and Mandy. We went to the midnight showing. Loved the movie and I can not wait to go see it again. I am soo glad that I stayed at my parent's house there is no way I would have been able to have a nap the next day at my house. Yes Isaac got to go also, he thinks it's okay to wake up all hours of the night lately.

Boys!

Isaac rolled over Saturday night at the church. I thought he would never roll over. The poor little kid rarely gets to be on the ground in fear of the big brother trying to play with him. I honestly think that there are times he cries because Evan is close to him.
While we were getting ready for the party on Saturday Makenzie was taking a bath. Evan was playing I was brushing my teeth. Evan was trying just to splash the water (he was not in the tub) and he tumbled into the tub head first, wet from his shoulders up. I pulled him out right away. He swallowed a bunch of water and took him a sec to breath and cough. His eyes were soo scared. That really freaks me out that something more could have happened.
Evan watches PBS every day he loves Clifford and George. Well he has learned how to turn around and jump up and down from that channel. He really is so much fun and makes me laugh everyday. I don't know what it is about laundry but he pushes the baskets around the house all day long- and when they get stuck man do you hear about it. Evan really knows how to throw a tantrum.

So as i am writting this blog I realize how quite it is. I start to yell for Evan walking around the house. No response from him. Then I hear this quite noise. Go back to the entry way - HE CLIMBED TO THE TOP OF THE LADDER. He was to the top of the closet. Yes he cried when it got put outside

Live Feed

Jane - I am updating for you!! j/k
So I got this live feed on my blog now if ya all didn't notice. KSL had a story about identity theft from blogs. People stealing your life story, how sad.
I was going to make my blog private because I know a lot of you are jealous of my fabulous life, and I really don't want you to steal my awesome stories about my sweet children. But then I thought about all of the others that learn from my great parenting skills and I really don't want to deprive those.
S0 I can see when all of you wonderful people log on to check us out. It is also kind of freaky =)

Where is Isaac

I just realized my picture of Isaac didn't show up with his costume on =(

Cute Baby

My stinking cute baby he is getting so big!!

Evan thinks this is HIS personal swing to watch george and clifford.

Happy Halloween!!

. ..Well a few days ago that is. We had ourselves lots of fun. I took the 3 munchkins to my parent's house. We went to see Charlene at work at eat all of their yummy treats. Grandma took us out to eat at Applebee's. I have decided Evan is no longer allowed to go to restaurants. He tried to take the utensils from the people next to us and then threw all of his food on the ground. After the long day we drove back to Ashlie's house to go trick or treating. The kids got loads of candy. Nate took Evan out - when they got back Nate said that Evan was dragging a ball and chain. I looked over and Evan's diaper was around his ankle. Nate didn't notice until the lady at the last house pointed it out.

Welcome Isaac Nathan Foster

Isaac Nathan was born on July 24th at 1:16 pm 6lbs 10 oz 20 inches. I had made an appointment for the 24th for the doctors to help me out with getting labor going. On the 23rd I think I worked myself a bit too much. I planted flowers made 120 cookies and chased after 2 one year old boys. I was having a bit of pain here and there – thought I just needed to go to the bathroom. We had the elders quorum, high priests, and young men at our home that night helping us put what was left of the tree and other debris into the dumpster. After they left and I was cleaning up the kitchen putting other things away the pain just kept getting worse. I really didn’t think it was labor contractions, the thought crossed my mind but they just didn’t seem like the other contractions I had with Makenzie and Evan.
After putting Makenzie and Evan to bed – I told Nate that I might be having contractions but wasn’t quite sure but they were very painful. I would try walking around – that didn’t really help much, laying down made them hurt worse, sitting was no good either. I was in tears with them so I told Nate that I may want to go to the hospital later. We called Charlene to see if she wanted to come up, knowing she had to work in the morning and couldn’t take the day off. She seemed before that she really wanted to be there so I gave her the option first – we called her at 11 and she was here by midnight. I called my doc to see what he wanted me to do as I was going to be laboring for a VBAC. He told me to try and rest that I was in early labor. My contractions were 2, 3, 5 mins apart and lasting 50 to 1.5 mins- He told me to wait until they were regular and steady. I laid down – although that was very painful the contractions slowed to 8 mins apart and I was able to get sleep. However whenever I moved it would cause another one to start – by 5 I decided to go to the hospital – we got there at 5:30 checked in hung out in the triage for 2 hours – I was so worried when I got there they would tell me I was at a 2 – luckly I was a 4 or almost a 4. They decided to let me hang there for an hour and check to see if I made any progress and if I did they would keep me if not I would go home with some loritab – well I made it to a 4+ so they kept me. That was around 7:30- At 9:30 I was checked again at at a 6- but during a contraction at 5.5 – my doc broke my water and the next contraction was horrible.
I know I wanted to go all natural but I was so worried I wouldn’t relax in between contractions that I got the epi – I was check again later and the nurse said I was at a 7- I could see my VBAC was a great possibility I was very excited. My doc decided to do an internal monitor on the baby – we kept loosing his heart rate and because of the prior c-section they wanted to make sure all was okay – Well this little guy did not like the idea and he went in to some bad stress- so bad they hurried up gave me a shot to stop/slow contractions, pills for a possible c-section, and had me sign the waiver. Oh they did prior to this start pitocen he was handling it well. After he recovered from that we started the pitocen again - very low. He was doing alright. My doc said if he scares us again they will do the c-section. And wouldn’t you know I was completely at peace with that.
Isaac’s heart rate started to decline quite a bit with each contraction. So off I went to have the repeat c-section. It went so much better this time around. My little guy came out great no problems, he got to hang out with me while I got cleaned up and put back together- I got to nurse him right away.
Isaac had jaundice pretty bad he had to go back to the hospital the first 2 days and get blood drawn. Luckly by the second day his levels went down he didn't need to go under the lights. On the 31st he went to the doctor and had already gained 14oz- he is over his birth weight no more formula for him. He is doing great and is sooo stinking sweet.

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY EVAN!!

Evan had a great birthday. We started out the day getting new carpet in the house. It is really really nice. Evan even took a nap on the floor is so soft. We ran errands got the birthday cake and got ready for the park.
We did presents first – since I knew he would get very messy later. We helped him open his gifts and he really seemed to like them. He got lots of cute clothes. I am excited that we are now able to find really cute boy clothes, seems all of the younger sizes there are not much to choose from.
We sang “happy birthday” to him and he didn’t cry – Gave him his cake and daddy helped blow out the candle. Evan wasn’t sure what to do with the cake at first. He would touch it and giggle, so daddy had to show him to eat it off his hands. After that Evan would grab some put it in his mouth and giggled with every bit. Aunt Charlene seemed to think he needed his face smashed into the cake- so she got it all over him. Then daddy had a grass fight with him and he had grass stuck all over his face.
Evan played and played and had so much fun with all of his cousins. It was so very nice for everyone to come far and wide to celebrate his 1st birthday with us. Evan fell asleep on the 3 min ride from the park and was out for the rest of the night – slept with cake up his nose and all. He did get a bath the next day – I wouldn’t let him go too long with cake stuck in his hair.

Evan WALKING!!

Evan has been taking steps here and there for a few weeks. But at the Family party on Saturday he decided he wanted to walk every where it was crazy he was all over the place.

Mudding The House

Makenzie really wanted to help do the walls. Once Evan saw that she was helping he had to help also- but with out the mudd.

Church Party

Makenzie playing in the bubble machine at the stake picnic. She had so much fun in there. Evan wanted to join her, but he would have gotten lost in the mound of bubbles. She was kind enough though to bring some to him.

Here We Are!

So I have been told that I need to get one of these things up. I am so new to this that we shall see how it all works out and if I can figure it out.
Let me all just update you on what is going on in our little home here in Roy, Utah. We are trying to get the house together so that we can sale it. No we don't know where we want to go yet, basically just want a house that will work a lot better for us.
Makenzie just finished her 1st grade year and loved it. She was very excited for Summer to start. We are trying to start the process for her to be adopted, we have already been given to okay to start just need some time to do it, as we will be attempting to do it ourselves.
Evan is now 11.5 months old he is taking steps here and there and sometimes running a bit, I am hopeful that he will be a very good walker by the end of next month. He makes us laugh everyday by the things he does. He is all boy loves to jump and climb things, I can only imagine what we are really in for.
Baby Boy Foster is due in 7 WEEKS! It has gone by very fast and I am not ready for this little guy just yet but it is bound to happen. We are very excited for him to join our little family that wont feel so small anymore.
Nate is working hard on the house trying to get things done, we should be getting new carpet soon. He is out in the yard everyday trying to make it look better, it seems though once one spot has been tackled and we move to another that first one needs work again.
I have been staying at home since we had Evan it has been a big change from working full time for the past 12 years.
