Our Family "stay"cation.

ARG!

I have been trying to post pictures for the last week and it just doesn't want to work for me.  Makenzie started school the last week of August. She seems to really like it this year. They will be going on a field trip on Monday. I wont be able to go =(

Evan has started speech therapy. We had him evaluated in August and he was a bit behind on his speech. Other things he was ahead on. So Evan has group on Mondays they sing songs do an activity and have a snack. Twice a month we have the speech therapist come to the house. She plays games with him. So far he is really enjoying the home visits because Julie brings fun things. Group he doesn't care so much about he gets mad often and is ready to leave 15 mins before it is time to go. They have also started up a music class we have gone 1 time and that was not a good visit for us. Evan has a hard time giving props back after the song and was throwing a fit the entire time. 

Isaac is lucky enough to enjoy the therapy classes as well he gets to tag along. He started to jabber quite a bit this past week I am sure he is telling me stories. He is loving puppies and cars also. He sleeps through the night now. I still wake up a night waiting for him to wake up. When he does wake up at night he does not want his milk. I give him food while he is sleeping it's funny to watch him eat in his sleep. He is also eating soo much better these days. He has to go in at the end of the month for a weight check. He hasn't been gaining very much at all he is soo skinny. He takes after Makenzie, but she was always skinny and he just isn't gaining like he used to. Went 5 months with out gaining anything. 

Nate is back to working 6 days a week. He took a day off to go on vacation, but things weren't working out like they should so we stayed home. We went to the drive in and then to willard bay. They kids had lots of fun hopefully Nate was able to relax enough in that short time.

My Innocent Children....

Sweet Evan got down the food coloring. And like a good big brother he gave Isaac some to play with also.

Evan is trying to save the toys from the "dirty" water.  

Not only did they get it all over Isaac, but the little potty also. I cleaned that off in the bath. It's never been used so not a big deal.

It did get on the carpet, but I have know clue how to get it out.

At first he was just playing in the basket... but found it very comfy for a bed.

Happy 2nd Birthday Little Man!

So Evan is still into Starwars. We made him a lightsaber for his cake (easy as pie). It was a lot of fun are really HOT!



Not that he knew what was going on, but he loved opening his presents. It was a lot of fun to see his reaction. Thanks everyone for coming!

Meeting Up with Old Friends

Thanks FACEBOOK for helping me find my old friends. I have missed them dearly and I am so glad that we were able to catch up. 

My New Hair!

I let or made Ashlie cut my hair. It had been driving me crazy being so long and it really is thick. So we chopped it off.

Bountiful Baskets!

My internet has not wanted to work. We had to get qwest out here to fix it. It was awful not being able to be on the computer. Sometimes this is my only way to speak with adults. Makenzie is at school so I get to hang out with my 9.5 month old and my 22 month old. Not that they are not tons of fun because they really are. I just need my adult time once in awhile.

So for those of you in Arizona and Northern Utah bountifulbaskets.org AWESOME I did this for the first time on the 1st! I got for $28 bucks (because first time is extra $3) a laundry basket full of fruits and veggies and 5 loaves of bread! I still have some wahoo. 

Baptism Date!

So Makenzie was baptized on Saturday. It was supposed to start at 11:00, but was pushed to 11:30. Someone broke the plug to the font and the water kept leaking out. 

Makenzie had to be dunked 2 times. Her feet didn't want to stay down. My Mom spoke about the Holy Ghost and The Foster's sang "I Believe in Christ". 

It was really sweet Nate cried. It was a really good day. I can't believe she is old enough to be baptized. The past 8 years have flown by and she has turned in to a beautiful little girl.

        So Makenzie will be getting baptized on Saturday May 2nd. You are all invited! I was going to send out an announcement, but never got around to it... I know bad mom.

Daddy!

I didn't get any pictures of Nate posted. He had to work on Easter and only gets Mondays and Tuesdays off. He was able go join us for the egg hunt at Nicki's house. My boys are so cute.

Happy Birthday Makenzie

Makenzie turned 8 years old on the 4th. It was conference weekend so we were really lazy and just hung out. She got her nice set of scriptures (hopefully they will stay nice). A new bedroom from her aunt and clothes. She had a wonderful day.

Today was The Day!

So I thought this morning would never come. And of course the morning went by very slow. We got to the court house just before 10:00 a.m. The office took us in. Nate, Makenzie and I went and sat up in the front. Grandma Wallace and Grandma Foster took over the 2 boys. Unfortunalty Evan did not like this arrangement and he threw a fit. Grandma Wallace had to take him out a couple of times. We were missing 1 form. So the judge excused us to go out to the hall and make up to form ourselves. 

We got back in and had to be sworn in, which felt odd. Nate was the family spoke person. He got our wedding date right and had Evan 2 months younger then he really was but that is okay. The judge asked why we thought this would be good for Makenzie... wish we would have known that one was coming so my answer could have sounded better. Then he asked Makenzie if that is what she wanted and of course she said yes. It was really odd to hear him say that the parental rights have been terminated and Makenzie will now be known as Makenzie Kaylyn Foster. So after it was  all said and done Judge Dutson asked if we wanted pictures. Well of course we did. He said the court will be in recess for a few mins. He took Makenzie up on the bench to play with the gavel but someone stole it. Grandma Wallace took us out to celebrate afterwards, Makenzie choose Arctic Circle. It's been a fun day!

Cushy Bums!

Don't knock it until you try it. Yup my cute little boys are wearing cloth diapers. Evan is sporting an all white one, while Isaac is chilling in his green one. They are so stinking cute. Makes diaper changing fun! I bought the one Evan is wearing for Isaac, but they were huge so Evan gets to sport these around now. I know he is so excited... he just wanted to get in the bath NOW!

Isaac 8 months old!

well not quite yet. He will be next week though. Look at that red hair and his cute smile. Still no teeth yet, but the bottom two are just teasing us all day and all night. I thought they would have poked through 2 days ago. His gums have been so swollen and one had a couple of bumps on it. Poor little guy!

What did You Do!

Evan often says that, because I am always saying it to him. So on Monday I got bored and decided to shave Evan's hair off. He is always screaming "ouch" when I attempt to comb his hair. He screamed as I shaved his hair and was very upset with me. He wouldn't look in the mirror afterwards. Anyway his hair grows so fast I am sure he will have more by the time his birthday rolls around.

So I also made a cake and left it to cool down to frost and wouldn't you know I left it too close to the edge and little fingers gave it a taste for me... don't worry I did a great job on it and it tasted really good.
